MARY PARKINSON - YOGA TEACHER, LONDON
As a yoga teacher myself, I set pretty high standards and Sally met all of them and more. Her teaching is of a high standard, her adjustments are good and she is really good fun.
She set the tone for the holiday and even when the weather faltered (freak weather!!), Sally did not. I went to all the classes during the holiday and hope to go with her again soon. I would recommend her teaching to everyone.
JOHN & JACQUELINE GILBERT – YOGA STUDENTS, WORTHING
I have enjoyed yoga lessons with Sally for approximately three years. I have suffered with Sleep Apnoea for a few years and received treatment from the lung clinic in Worthing Hospital, which involved having to wear a mask and a supply of ‘continuous positive airway pressure’ (CPAP) machine to help with breathing at night.
Since taking yoga lessons with Sally, which involves breathing exercises as well as having lost weight, a sleep study was repeated and I no longer need the CPAP machine.
My wife Jackie also suffered with high blood pressure but since attending Sallys’ classes she no longer requires daily blood pressure tablets.
RON NEWTON, 64 years young.
Six and seven years ago I was involved in two major road accidents and suffered whiplash and upper and lower back injuries. Since then I have been having massage on a regular basis from a sports and remedial massage therapist to keep myself mobile.
Since starting yoga classes on a weekly basis about three months ago I find myself more flexible and am becoming less reliant on the massage treatment. I also find I am sleeping better and not waking up stiff in the morning.
Thank you Sally for helping to get this body back into shape.
PAULA GARLAND - YOGA STUDENT, WORTHING
I had been to yoga classes before Sally’s - but her style of teaching is so relaxed and friendly it makes for a wonderful, comfortable atmosphere. The benefits of yoga are many and varied - I used to suffer from asthma, but after doing yoga for six weeks I realised that it was six weeks since I’d used my inhaler!
Yoga’s a wonderful way of building strength and stamina, for improving your breathing and relaxing your body and mind. The strains and stresses just seem to fall away as the class progresses.
I’ve been going along to Sally’s pre-natal yoga classes since I was 12 weeks pregnant and have found them an excellent way to get some gentle exercise and meet lots of other mums-to-be. Sally also has occasional guest speakers at the classes which introduced me to hypnobirthing and maternity reflexology. I’m hoping that the combination of exercise and relaxation will help enormously when the big day comes…
